Pascal Fauvet developed a passion for photography at a very young age and later specialized in architecture and design. His photo series have been a huge success, and he exhibits his work in art galleries in Paris and Brussels. For some of them, his artistic vision, combined with his sensitivity to design, results in a unique aesthetic—as seen, for example, in the “caricature” series.

He has lived in Provence, in the Var hinterland, since the early 1990s. He set up his workshop in the village’s old oil mill. A jack-of-all-trades, every technique and every medium serves as a springboard for creativity: photography, video, and—of course—sculpture and design.

Whether photographic or sculptural, Pascal creates works that alter our perception of our surroundings. “Everyday life blinds us; contemplation is a way to awaken our consciousness,” he asserts.

Through each of his works, he seeks to raise our awareness. The aesthetic quality of his works is based on a precise balance of nuances and spaces, as well as a dynamism that reflects the artist’s lively and committed personality.

“Like life itself, the act of creation is violent; the more I enjoy it, the more it slips away.”
